What You Get as a CHA Patient
Medical Advice by Phone, Anytime
If you have a medical need, please call your primary care center. After hours, just call the main number and you will be connected to a member of your healthcare team.
Sick Visits
CHA offers sick visits during business hours at all our care centers. Please call us and tell us how you are feeling.
After Hours Urgent Care
Use Urgent Care when your care center is closed or you can't get a visit. CHA Somerville Campus Urgent Care is open 9 AM - 9 PM everyday. Walk-ins are welcome and all insurances are accepted.
You can also use CHA's partners - CareWell Urgent Care and Beth Israel Deaconess Urgent Care (Chelsea). Learn more.
Your Primary Care Team
When you choose CHA, you get an entire Primary Care team. This team is led by your "primary care provider" or "PCP", usually a doctor or nurse practitioner. It also includes nurses, medical assistants, front desk staff, therapists, pharmacists and others.
Your CHA care team works together to support your needs. This may include seeing you in the office, sending you for tests or referring you to a specialist. They also help you make decisions about the best options for care.
